Inspiration and Origin:

This design unites folk art traditions with the histories of four beloved dog breeds, each carrying its own legacy. The Dachshund, bred in 16th-century Germany to hunt badgers, became a symbol of courage and persistence. The Labrador Retriever, developed in Newfoundland and refined in 19th-century Britain, is cherished worldwide for loyalty and gentle companionship. The Spaniel, with roots in Spain and later popularized across Europe, has long been celebrated for playfulness and grace, even appearing in Renaissance paintings. The Border Collie, descended from herding dogs along the rugged Anglo-Scottish border, is famed for intelligence and agility.
